I am convinced that James Rone is a superhero. Not only is he a beautiful singer, an outstanding musician, and an absolutely stellar improvisor who demonstrates the most convincing space-work I’ve ever seen, James is also a teacher and a real helluva nice guy. James approached me to create a promotional package for his unscripted solo show Troubadour, in which he transforms into a new folk-singer character on the spot and treats his audience to an acoustic concert with storytelling commentary. It’s really quite wonderful.
James asked for promotional images that were reminiscent of an old Bob Dylan album cover.
Troubadour plays in November & December at 930pm at HUGE Theater.
